What is a Moroccan bath?
The Moroccan bath, or hammam, is a traditional cleansing ritual. Warmth and steam soften the skin, and the body is then exfoliated with a rough glove called a kessa, often together with black soap. The result is skin that feels very smooth and refreshed. Read more about what it does in the benefits of a Moroccan bath, or how it differs from a regular spa in Moroccan bath vs a regular spa.
Treatments you can choose
Our menu includes the Traditional Moroccan Bath and the Royal Moroccan Bath, a full body scrub, a body wrap, body polish and glow, and a relaxation ritual. If you are not sure which to choose, message us and we will recommend one based on what you would like.
Who it suits
A Moroccan bath is popular before a big event, after travel, or simply as time to relax. Please tell us about sensitive skin, recent sunburn, skin conditions, pregnancy or any medical concern before you book, so that we can advise whether it is right for you.
Preparing for your session
- Avoid waxing or shaving just before your session, because exfoliation can irritate fresh skin
- Drink water and eat lightly beforehand
- Remove jewelry and bring a change of clothes
- Allow enough time so you do not feel rushed
After your session
Moisturize your skin, drink water, and avoid strong sun and harsh products for the rest of the day. Your skin will feel soft, and a good body lotion helps keep it that way.
At home or at the salon
