Timeline: When to Book Your Bridal Beauty Appointments

Between hair, makeup, skin, and nails, bridal beauty prep has a lot of moving pieces. Here's a simple timeline to keep it all on track.

2-3 Months Before

  • Book your bridal makeup and hair trial dates (the trials themselves usually happen closer to the wedding, but reserving the slot early avoids disappointment).
  • Start a facial routine if you have specific skin concerns to address before the big day.

6 Weeks Before

  • Have your bridal makeup trial.
  • Have your bridal hair trial — ideally on a different day than the makeup trial so you can evaluate each separately.
  • Book a facial to address any last skin concerns with enough time to see results.

2-3 Weeks Before

  • Book any hair coloring or major color correction — this needs more time to adjust if something doesn't turn out as expected.
  • Schedule a Moroccan bath or body treatment for full-body glow before the big day.

1 Week Before

  • Get your hair cut or trimmed lightly if needed (nothing drastic this close).
  • Book henna if it's part of your celebration — timed so the color is at its richest for the wedding.

2-3 Days Before

  • Book your manicure and pedicure.
  • Any final light touch-ups (brow shaping, lash lift) that need a day or two to settle.

Wedding Day

  • Hair and makeup application, timed backward from your ceremony start.
  • Keep the morning calm — this is not the day to try anything new.
